Nick Anthony is an artist, entrepreneur, & educator best known as a professional dancer, choreographer, teacher, & adjudicator. Hailing from Massachusetts, Nick grew up dancing & competing at his mom & aunt's studio, the Hackworth School of Performing Arts, located in Easthampton, MA, which has been in his family for over 80 years. Following high school, he attended college in Connecticut & graduated magna cum lade from Quinnipiac University in 2010 with a B.S. degree in Entrepreneurship & Small Business Management & a minor in Music. Shortly following graduation, Nick relocated to Los Angeles, CA to pursue a career in the art & entertainment industry. Over five years have passed since his move out west & since then, Nick has been fortunate enough to be able to create a versatile resume of experience. 

As a performing artist, Nick has been represented by Bloc Talent Agency, as well as Clear Talent Group. His work spans from film, TV, & music videos to commercials, web series, & live stage performances. Some of his more notable credits include: Misery Loves Company: A Dance Documentary, Arrested Development, Dance Moms, Real Life: the Musical, Dr. Ken, Lindsey Stirling, Neon Trees, Wednesday Atoms, AR Rhaman, Disney, Ryan Seacrest/Coca Cola, Kidz Bob, NBA D-League, Signature from "Britain's Got Talent," & GAP. 

 As an entrepreneur, Nick has had the opportunity to be a part of various projects as an organizer, coordinator, manager, producer, creator, & director. He has worked as an event coordinator for Travis Wall, Nick Lazzarini, Kyle Robinson, & Teddy Forance's dance company "Shaping Sound" (2011) & has also served as the Executive Director for Generation IV Dance (2010-2012), an annual weeklong summer intensive dance-training program. More recently, Nick operated as the Co-Executive Director for The Dance Council (TDC), the dance division underneath Meta'fizikal Entertainment Co., which was made up of IV Real MVMNT & UN.Conventional, two very distinct, powerful intensive training & performance programs. In addition, he was a co-producer on the initial promotional campaign & magalogue for Curtain Call Costumes' new fashion line, NX3, which was released in November 2015. Currently, Nick has several of his own entertainment ideas in development. These include his very own production company, education company, career management company, & apparel company, all of which will be future divisions that fall underneath NAKOA Network, LLC, the business & brand Nick founded in February 2016 & has been working hard to build, one step at a time, ever since. 

As an educator, Nick is incredibly passionate about teaching, choreographing, adjudicating, mentoring, & public speaking, all of which he has been practicing for over ten years. While he trained in all styles of dance until the age of thirteen, Nick now primarily focuses on hip hop, contemporary, & acro/tumbling & loves to share what he does with others through many different platforms. He frequently travels the country, as well as parts of Canada & Central America, to work with studios, schools, colleges, workshops, conventions, competitions, & students of all ages & levels, both in the classroom & on stage. He is a faculty teacher for Generation IV Dance's summer & winter events & he is also a faculty teacher & panel judge for Dance Educators of America, American Dance Awards, Dance Masters of America, & DanceXplosion. Nick often works as a DJ & host for Headliners Dance Competition as well. 

 Regardless of the type of work Nick is involved in or what role he is fulfilling, he always hopes to reach, entertain, educate, & inspire as many people as he can as often as he can, particularly young aspiring artists. He strives to do this through his movement, knowledge, experiences, & passion for what he does. Nick is a firm believer in passing on everything he's learned & paying it forward to the next generation. He is very grateful to be able to do this through his range of work in dance, entertainment, & the arts as a whole & he looks forward to every opportunity he is given to share. When not on the road spreading the love, Nick continues to do so locally in LA as a frequent sub at Relevé Studios, Liv' Art Studios, Independence Dance Company, & occasionally, the world renowned Millennium Dance Complex
